Time & Location

About the event
This workshop provides an evidence-informed overview of emotional experiences commonly associated with ADHD, including overwhelm, reactivity, and difficulty returning to baseline after emotional activation. It is designed to help participants understand these patterns without pathologising emotion or framing difficulties as personal failure.
Date: 13th June 2026
Time: 13.30
Venue: Online via Zoom
In this live workshop, emotional experiences in ADHD are explored as differences in regulation rather than problems of temperament, maturity, or self-control. The session examines why emotions can feel intense, fast-moving, or difficult to settle, and why people with ADHD may recover more slowly after stress or conflict.
Rather than focusing on emotional disclosure or processing, the workshop looks at patterns, escalation cycles, and early warning signs that help make sense of emotional overwhelm in ADHD.
