Clinical Terms of Service

Service Name: ADHD Horizon
Legal Entity: Psych Pro Solutions Ltd (trading as ADHD Horizon)

These Terms apply to clinical services provided by ADHD Horizon. Live psychoeducation workshops are governed by separate Workshop Terms & Participation.

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service form the contract between:

Psych Pro Solutions Ltd (trading as ADHD Horizon)
and
You (the client).

By booking or attending any session, group, or service with ADHD Horizon, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.

ADHD Horizon provides online psychological services for adults, including:

  • Live psychoeducation workshops (non-clinical)”

  • Psychology-led group programmes

  • 1:1 psychological therapy (where clinically indicated)

ADHD Horizon does not provide diagnostic assessments, emergency or crisis services, or services for children.

2. Service Eligibility

To access services, you confirm that:

  • You are 18 years or older

  • You understand that this is a non-emergency service

  • You have access to a private, confidential space during sessions

  • You can engage safely in online psychological work

  • You will provide accurate information during screening

ADHD Horizon will determine your suitability for the service following the screening process.

This includes assessing:

  • Risk level

  • Stability and clinical needs

  • Whether currently provided services are appropriate (individual therapy, groups, self-help)

If, based on clinical assessment, you fall outside the service’s scope (e.g., moderate/high risk, active crisis, unmanaged substance use, psychosis, severe instability), we will not proceed with treatment and will provide signposting to appropriate services.

Eligibility criteria differ between clinical services and non-clinical psychoeducation workshops, which do not involve screening or clinical assessment. Live psychoeducation workshops are non-clinical services and are governed by a separate Workshop Terms & Participation Agreement. Attendance at workshops does not create a therapeutic relationship.

3. Nature of the Service

  • ADHD Horizon provides non-diagnostic, therapeutic intervention for adults with ADHD and related difficulties.

  • Some services offered by ADHD Horizon are non-clinical and educational in nature (e.g. live psychoeducation workshops). These do not constitute therapy, diagnosis, or treatment and do not create a therapeutic relationship.

  • Services are delivered online only via secure telehealth platforms.

  • Participation in therapy or groups does not guarantee any specific clinical outcome.

  • Recommendations or strategies provided in sessions are based on professional judgment and evidence-based practice.

You understand that:

  • Therapy is collaborative and requires active participation

  • You are responsible for implementing strategies between sessions

  • Your progress depends on multiple factors, including attendance and engagement

4. Working Online

ADHD Horizon delivers all services online using secure telehealth platforms. You will agree to the Telehealth & Online Working Policy (GOV-12) as part of the onboarding process when you first begin working with the service.

Before each session, your clinician will:

  • Confirm your current physical location

  • Confirm you are in a private, safe environment

  • Check whether there have been any changes to your safety, wellbeing, or circumstances since the previous session

  • Ensure the session can proceed safely online

If at any point the environment is unsafe, privacy cannot be maintained, or the technology required for safe online work is not adequate, the clinician may pause or reschedule the session.

If a session cannot proceed because you have not ensured a private, safe, or appropriate environment or adequate functioning technology, the session will be charged in full in line with the cancellation policy.

ADHD Horizon is not an emergency service.

If you are at immediate risk or require emergency support, contact 999.
For urgent mental health support, contact NHS 111 or your local crisis service.
For routine or ongoing support, you may wish to contact your GP.

Live psychoeducation workshops are delivered online but do not involve individual clinical assessment, treatment, or clinical record-keeping.

5. Confidentiality

All information discussed in sessions is confidential except where:

  • There is a risk of harm to you or someone else

  • There is a safeguarding concern involving a child or adult at risk

  • Information is required by law (e.g., court order)

  • You provide explicit consent to share information

ADHD Horizon complies with GDPR/UK-GDPR. Full details are in the Privacy Policy.

6. Cancellation, Rescheduling & Refunds

6.1 Individual Therapy

  • 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an individual therapy session.

  • Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice are charged in full.

  • Missed sessions (“no shows”) are charged in full.

  • Late arrival does not extend the session.

6.2 ADHD Group Pathway (Fixed-Cohort Groups)

Group Programme Fees & Payment Structure

Group programmes are delivered as fixed-cohort courses. When you are accepted onto a group, a place is reserved exclusively for you and cannot be reassigned once the programme has begun.

For this reason, enrolment requires a commitment to the full programme fee, regardless of attendance at individual sessions.

Payment structure

Payment for group programmes is made in three staged instalments:

  1. 10% deposit payable upon acceptance of a place on the programme

  2. 40% of the total fee payable before the first group session

  3. 50% of the total fee payable before the midpoint of the programme

The full payment schedule, including due dates, will be clearly communicated before booking. By confirming your place, you agree to this staged payment structure.

Once the group programme has started, clients remain liable for the full programme fee, irrespective of attendance, withdrawal, or early discontinuation.

Cancellation & Refunds – Group Programmes

Because group programmes operate as complete courses with fixed membership, cancellations and refunds are handled as follows.

After the programme has started

  • Fees are non-refundable once the programme has begun.

  • Missed group sessions cannot be refunded, rescheduled, or transferred to a future cohort.

Before the programme starts

If you cancel your place before the programme begins, the following applies:

  • More than 14 days before the start date
→ Any payments made (including the deposit) will be refunded in full.

  • 14 days or fewer before the start date
    → The 10% deposit is non-refundable.
→ Any additional payments made beyond the deposit will be refunded.

  • 48 hours or fewer before the start date
→ The 10% deposit is non-refundable, and no further refunds will be issued.

Where instalment payments are outstanding at the point of cancellation, those payments will be cancelled and not pursued.

Clinical or service-led cancellations

If the Organisation cancels a group programme before it begins (for example, due to insufficient enrolment or unforeseen circumstances), all fees paid will be refunded in full.

Attendance

  • The group will proceed as scheduled regardless of individual attendance.

  • Materials or summaries may be provided at the discretion of the facilitator, but replacement sessions are not offered.

6.3 Clinician Cancellation

If ADHD Horizon must cancel a session:

Individual Therapy

  • You will be offered a suitable rescheduled appointment.

  • If no suitable alternative can be found, you may request a refund for that individual session.

ADHD Group Pathway (Fixed-Cohort Programmes)

  • Group programmes follow a structured, sequential curriculum.

  • If a facilitator must cancel a group session, the session will be rescheduled, and all participants will be informed in advance wherever possible.

  • Group sessions cannot be refunded, as they form part of a complete programme that is delivered in full.

  • If a rescheduled session cannot be attended by a participant, the session will still proceed, and no refund or alternative session will be offered, as the programme must remain consistent for the full cohort.

6.4 Technology, Environment & Client Responsibility

For online therapy to proceed safely, clients must:

  • Ensure a private, confidential environment

  • Have functioning internet and audio/video setup

  • Be in a stable, safe location

If a session cannot proceed because these requirements are not met:

  • Individual sessions will be charged in full

  • Group sessions are not refundable

If a group session or therapy session cannot proceed because the required safe environment or functioning technology is not in place, this will be treated as a late cancellation and charged in full.

6.5 Live Psychoeducation Workshops

Live psychoeducation workshops are delivered as scheduled, live educational events and are not clinical services. By registering for a workshop, participants reserve a place in a time-limited, facilitator-led session that cannot be replicated or personalised.

Cancellations by the Participant

• Cancellations made more than 14 days before the scheduled workshop date will receive a full refund.
• Cancellations made between 14 days and 48 hours before the workshop will receive a 50% refund.
• Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled workshop start time are non-refundable.

Non-Attendance

Failure to attend a workshop without prior cancellation (“no-show”) is treated as a late cancellation and is non-refundable.

Rescheduling

• Workshop bookings are date-specific and cannot be rescheduled to a different date unless explicitly stated at the point of booking.
• Where rescheduling is offered, it will be clearly described prior to purchase and is subject to availability.

Cancellations by ADHD Horizon

ADHD Horizon reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a workshop due to:
• facilitator illness,
• insufficient participant numbers,
• technical failure,
• or unforeseen circumstances beyond reasonable control.

Where ADHD Horizon cancels a workshop, participants will be offered:
• a full refund, or
• where available, the option to transfer to a future workshop date.

Refund Method

All refunds will be processed to the original payment method within a reasonable timeframe and in accordance with applicable consumer law.

These terms apply only to live psychoeducation workshops and do not affect cancellation or refund terms for clinical services, which are governed separately within this Agreement.

7. Payment Terms

Payment is required before services are provided, in accordance with the booking or invoicing process for the relevant service.

Payments made via the website are processed securely through Stripe. ADHD Horizon does not store or process card details directly.

Where invoicing is used, payment must be received in advance of the scheduled session.

All prices are listed in GBP. Fees may be updated from time to time, with any changes reflected on the website or in written communication.

8. Communication Outside Sessions

Permitted:

  • Administrative emails (booking, forms, materials)

  • Brief clarifications

  • Crisis signposting

Not permitted:

  • Therapy via email or messaging

  • Emergency support

  • Detailed clinical discussions outside session time

All clinically relevant content from emails will be summarised in your clinical record.

9. Safety & Risk

You agree to:

  • Inform your clinician of any changes in mood, safety, or circumstances

  • Provide accurate emergency contact information

  • Follow agreed safety plans where relevant

  • Seek emergency support (999/GP/111/crisis services) if in immediate danger

ADHD Horizon does not provide crisis or emergency mental health services. If risk increases beyond the service’s scope, we may pause or end therapy and signpost you to suitable support.

For non-clinical psychoeducation workshops, facilitators may respond to expressed risk through signposting and safeguarding escalation, but workshops are not a substitute for clinical care.

10. Use of Technology & Recording

  • Sessions must not be recorded by either party unless explicitly agreed in writing

  • ADHD Horizon does not record sessions

  • Screenshots, audio capture, or screen-recording software must not be used

  • You must use only your own private device during sessions

11. Data Protection (Summary)

ADHD Horizon processes your data under:

  • UK-GDPR

  • GDPR (where applicable)

  • Data Protection Act 2018

You have rights to:

  • Access your records

  • Request corrections

  • Request deletion (where lawful)

  • Withdraw consent (for marketing)

Full details are in the Privacy Policy.

Personal data collected for workshop registration is processed separately from clinical records and governed by the Privacy Policy and relevant Data Protection Impact Assessments.

12. Complaints

If you are dissatisfied, you may:

  1. Raise the issue directly with your clinician

  2. Follow the Complaints Policy

  3. If unresolved, escalate to:

    • HCPC (for fitness-to-practise concerns)

    • ICO (data protection)

    • Other relevant regulators

All complaints are handled sensitively and impartially.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • ADHD Horizon is not liable for any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential losses
(including loss of profit, opportunity, productivity, or reputation)

  • Our liability for direct losses arising from our services is limited to the total fees paid by you for the service giving rise to the claim
    OR £1,000, whichever is higher

  • Nothing in these Terms limits liability for:

    • Death or personal injury caused by negligence

    • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation

    • Any liability which cannot legally be limited

You understand that online therapy has limitations and accept responsibility for seeking emergency care where necessary.

14. Ending Therapy or Group Participation

You may end therapy at any time.

We may end therapy or group participation if:

  • The work is no longer clinically appropriate

  • Risk exceeds the service’s boundaries

  • Attendance or engagement is insufficient

  • There is abusive or discriminatory behaviour

  • You breach confidentiality or group agreements

  • Fees are outstanding

  • You violate these Terms

A discharge summary will be provided on request.

Live Workshops: where a workshop participant behaves in a way that disrupts delivery or breaches stated participation boundaries, we may end group participation.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by English law, and any disputes will be heard in the courts of England and Wales.

16. Acceptance of Terms

By booking or attending a session with ADHD Horizon, you confirm that you:

  • Understand these Terms

  • Agree to them

  • Have had the opportunity to ask questions

  • Provide informed consent for psychological treatment
