About the event

This workshop provides an overview of how ADHD can affect relationships, including communication patterns, misunderstandings, and recurring cycles of tension. It is designed to help participants make sense of relational difficulties without blame, pathologising, or a focus on individual fault.

Date: 18th July 2026

Time: 13.30

Venue: Online via Zoom

In this live workshop, relationship difficulties associated with ADHD are explored as differences in regulation, communication, and system-level functioning rather than deficits in care, commitment, or effort. The session examines why many couples or families find themselves stuck in repeated patterns, even when intentions on both sides are good.

Rather than focusing on individual behaviour change or relationship repair, the workshop looks at shared dynamics, mismatches in expectations, and the impact of ADHD on everyday relational systems.
